A series of candid photographs taken during the Ottawa Winterlude festival. For a few short weeks the canal represents a micrososum of Ottawa life. Despite the layers of winter clothing which physically reduce everyone to a similar appearance, I hope this small series of photos manages to communicate the essence of life on the frozen Rideau Canal.
