Peggys Cove, Chester & Lunenburg
Friday morning and the O'Neills had to start the long road trip back to Ottawa. After tearful farewells we set off back towards Halifax in search of the famous Peggy's Cove. This charming fishing village lived up to its reputation and we enjoyed several hours exploring the cove and its lighthouse. The we drove on to Chester, Mahoneys Bay and finally the UNESCO town of Lunenburg which is also the home port of the famouse Blue Nose II sailing ship.
